Letters 725 &726

So yeah, I got to thinking that if I deleted posts on this that images would get lost so maybe that is what happened. Still a bit flummoxed by the whole thing.
Oh well, here's 725 & 726:
The flip side to this envelope is sort of special to me:

Don's grandkids like LEGO products. I saw the movie! It was Great!
Don doin' his thing.

More Big Mac stuff in his life and being the dutiful husband.
A good read. I hope you enjoyed that!
Oh, and Good Veteran's Day to all of us Service People who have spent any time in the Armed Forces of our truly great country!

Letters 720 & 721

Here's the envelope and a receipt for some Mountain Dew for his son. What a good father Don is:

Well, even if Don doesn't get to make it on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" we at least get a peek at his application for it. Hahah.

Envelope 721 and Letter:

Gambling must be big in Wisconsin if it makes it in the paper this much!

Letter 719

How fitting. Election stuff during THAT time of Year! When people don't really vote because it isn't a Presidential Election Year so they let the 0ther Guys push forward with their agenda. Those Sorry Sad States! Today you only get one letter. But it is filled with info! So let's start with the envelope and the cool Circus Stamp:
Then the letter:
Don and his numbers.
Gorskes don't like putting off crappy projects. Best to get them over with and reap the benefit of a finished chore. Way to Go Bro! Hey to Betty. My "not" Mother-in-Law.
And the Goliath Story. That Bible!
This is Don's response to my not giving up about doing the blog. Which is why eyes get blocked out in McD yellow and red y'all! There are folks I didn't block out but can or would obliterate the picture entirely if need be. I get where he is coming from. Country folk.

Hope you enjoyed that as much as I did. Hahah. Catching up to letter 740 which arrived yesterday.
Aside: This blog has had so many Page Views but the Dan Go part has had visits in the 5K range. Whatever that means...thank you for reading this.

Well hi there. Worked on these earlier in the day. Scanning, re-sizing; and now ready to upload these next babies!
Letters 716 through 718.
Farm news and Don Talk. Good stuff.
For the Most Part.
I'm just his Little Brother.

But...an added feature will be an update of the Aunt Litz and Coke Stacks pics (from 1988) to a past post. I shrouded the identities of individuals in Donnie's pics to me and pics from Don's past with the exception of  Uncle Bob and 0ur brother Randy. They both look terrific! I loved going fishing with Uncle Bob as a young kid!
If I have to give Randall or good 'ol Uncle Bob zombie eyes; I will. So go back and check it out!

p.s. I like the use of the semi-colon. Hope I am in the boundaries of rules for using said punctuation mark though.

I get carried away in the blog. hahahh
 Letter 716:
Skyping and Don aren't in the mix just yet.
Farm news continued. No proposed Rice Field Farming either.
Letter 717:
Super Cleaner Lady cleans toys and other donations I believe. She loads up Donnie's Work Area at Saint Vincent de Paul (?) with cleaned up donations worth re-selling. We probably need to get a picture of her in here at some point huh?
CD's of my brother's appearances. I think I have one of those somewhere.
Parker is D.'s grandson.
I worked at an IHOP when I was in High School in N.F.D.L.
Squirrels and caterpillars. Knocked out Power. Oh My!
Don's Republican humor towards his wife.
a good read.

This is the place where I saw the first Willard movie alone and thought I felt RATS scurrying around me way back then. I saw the Sound of Music there. Or at its Sister Theater (what was its name? Hmm. It's Long Gone). Bye Walter...I mean Retlaw
So there's some news there for you! Give me Manure over Oil any day!

So that was Letter 718.
You have just seen/read letters 716 through 718. The envelopes were scanned earlier (and resized) but I forgot to mark stuff out. I think the stamps were boring anyway. And you all still know what envelopes look like right?

I'll try to make it right in the next post. Just read the darn blog. Hah!

Wow! I think that is it. I am gonna proof-read this set of letters (yet once more, sheesh!) and throw it up no matter what at this point.
Enjoy.

Sunday, November 2, 2014

Well hey there Big Mac aficionados! A lot has been going on with the World Series win in San Francisco. That was a good series to watch. Severe lows & highs. Crazy baseballs. Civic Center is alight in Orange Light. The Symphony Hall, Bill Graham's Auditorium, City Hall with its Giants' banners above its entrance facing Market Street and more Orange Light throughout the City. I didn't go to any of it but chose to watch it on my neighbor's television. It still is a little overwhelming to experience this ball team that is continuing to do the unbelievable so frequently. Puzzling; but in a Good Way!

So, I am going to continue with Letter 713:
 Prison Guard Humor.

Wow! Bowling The Blind Team. Who are They?
Okay, the next letter is pretty good. Some of the top piece he inserted got cut off but they were the least funny to me anyway.
Letter 714:
 Liking the Circus Stamps.

Ah, the letter about his call to be on Who Wants to be a Millionaire! Football Talk, The Spider & The Cat and a Bear Story. What an exciting life!

Letter 715:
I like the statitude on the end. Don's new TV is getting closer to reality.
Dog Story and Prez Obama toon:

I really like it when a page can just be scanned without having to snip out parts but am sure you are all enjoying the Arts & Craftiness of this clever blog none-the-less. More soon.
