Letter 769 from 12.12.14

Packers at Seattle 2008. Packers won. This is a pretty cool stadium. I believe I was here with Donnie, Gideon and Bones to watch the Brewers play the Mariners (I think that is the team). Brew Crew won I also believe. smile.
Don spends time with Denny Parker eating a Mac and doing stuff. Mary fries bacon.
Pasting? That is a weird word.
Poor Mascots!
..and there is Rudolph again. I am 56 so think I saw that Rudolph program back when it premiered on teevee that Winter in Wisconsin long ago. I am thinking Donnie didn't really watch that for long if I was engrossed in it. He liked sports and was older by a few years. But I liked cartoon stuff and holiday specials were a pretty amazing diversion for my little 6 or 7 year old country kid mind/head. Our teevee was Black & White (until Don bought a color set with his country club shoe-shine money I am thinking). But that was many years later yet to come. So to see the big color newsprint article and the colorful stamps sort of make it look all kind of new/old to me I guess. It was the same with  Charlie Brown Specials or the Wizard of 0z (guessing where the movie goes from sepia to color). Our c0untry Life !
