So here we are once again. Don will be talking about how cold Wisconsin is for about the next 120 letters or snow (get it? snow?). Anyway, I will add a little blurb here and there as the pix fall into place:
Never made it to Ground Zero after the Fall. Never made it there when those two sterile buildings stood actually.
I have been somewhere around here. There is a Jeff Koontz sculpture to the 9/11 mindset that I came across when I was visiting NYC a few years back to see The Book of Mormon with the original cast (and a travelling buddy). I will try to locate that for you.
Here we go: The Sculpture near Ground Zero:
This was a 6x8 envelope I believe.
Don found this story interesting. So did I but I think I may have read all this before or got it while doing the tour which I have done twice with my dear Albuquerque extended family.
This is Lake Winnebago. I think this is by the Lighthouse in Fond du Lac.
When I was in Wisconsin this past year I visited a friend in Milwaukee and on my way back to Omro I swung into F.D.L. to drive through Lakeside Park and see the Christmas lights. I stopped at the Lighthouse and parked. This is a place where Lover's park and mess around. I heard ducks while I was there with my window rolled down. It was a still evening.
If you need to see what Mary looks like I guess you could go to Dwyer & Mike's website or whatever.
Historical Moment! Big Macs go down in price by twenty cents!!! Don takes note.
