Well Happy Halloween blog readers/visitors, October 31st 2014 !!
Oh, and it is the Parade Day for the San Francisco Giants to celebrate their World Series Win over the KC Royals! It is cloudy and rainy in San Francisco. My celebrating will be relegated to the big screen at my neighbor's.
So today we are at Letter 710 from the stack dated 09.19.2014 and we will read about Don's new TV that Gideon helps install:

Saw some of the Ken Burns documentary on The Roosevelts. It was very informative.

Letter 711 has an obituary of a James Bond villian, and some baseball thoughts. I actually forgot to read this letter until a couple of days ago (oopsie! as my mother was prone to saying, hah), so it was nice to see a last photo of her that Don took. There are pics of his kids and the cases and cases of Coca-Cola but don't think he wants pics of his kids on this (even though they were taken twenty-five years ago or so). I'll put them in in the future if he lets me know otherwise. Uncle Bob and Aunt Lydia are all good pics with an Instamatic Camera from the day but will just pass on those for now. Enjoy the read:
That guy was a scary looking actor. From Detroit.
Guess we all deal with messed up line-ups in baseball when our teams play.
Here are the pics for that letter above. (Updated 11/04/2014)

Oh boy; the Giants are torturing us again with this puzzling Game VI of the World Series. So...I may as well throw something up on the blog yeah?
Letter 707 / Harry Potter stamp

Bad Scanning here but you get the Pitcher. Gov Walker defending his tax breaks for the rich with a 1.8 billion shortfall on his budget. Kind of like Ed Lee and the Developers of our fair city of San Francisco and the pummeling of our streets with these megaton truckloads of new fair housing. Yay!

Okay, Letter 708 starts with a wedding invite and then the letter, and then McD's in the news:

Looks like a Drive down Memory Lane here.
My kind of wedding. I love FREE STUFF at weddings! Candy...Sure! Coffee Cups; I'm there. My favorite departing wedding gifts were dried flower table bouquets, name-tagged mason jars (for the open Bar) and Beer Can Cozies with the phrase: To Have and to Hold AND to Keep Your Beer Cold (from friend Ashlee's nuptials). AND...Big McDonald news. Always.
Just so you know; this blog almost didn't happen as you can read from the first response from Don to my request to do a Letter Blog from him. He presented some obvious and sensible reasons for not allowing it to go forward. That was understood going into this and so with the proper restrictions, Don allowed me to go ahead with it.
So if you don't get to see certain pictures he sends, well, that is too bad.
People need privacy too.
I did send an impassioned letter with facts and stats that the main criticisms to blogs are focused on the blogger.
So if you don't like what you've seen so far, BUCKLE UP! !
Because it is just gonna keep comin'.

Don seemed to "get" the concept and relented; so this is just his initial response.
You'll see his approval letter eventually.
It'll be here in time.

Since this isn't a blog about MY letters, let it be known that I used a Biblical tactic to get to my brother's reversal on this decision. Something about the "fervent prayer of the righteous" wearing down the Lord. Albeit I am FAR from righteous, we do have a Blog for Big Mac fans!

And now Letter 709:

Oh Boy! Don's 30 year old t.v. died. He is going to enjoy Sports soooo much more now !

Okay, that's it for 10.28.14's letters and attachments. The World Series goes to the 7th Game. The Giants scored 0 to 10 (or eleven) against the KC Royals. I stopped listening.
The blog occupied my mind. I hope you enjoyed the mundanity of it.

Well how about those SF Giants! Don will surely comment on this in the letters coming down the pipe but for now we'll have to deal with letters numbered 700 through 706. It appears 701 & 702 aren't in my stash but one of those must be the story about Don's Green Sweater that we'll get to at another time. Okay, let's go:

The Green Sweater Story looms on the horizon. I love the perch dinner at Wendt's. It was a place that our dad and mom would take us out to on Friday nights when we were younger. Now it is way more popular and nicer than the old-style bar of yesteryear.

My brother doesn't like to run out of a product that he believes in.

Don't think Don is fond of Gov. Walker of Wisconsin. Neither am I.

Lead off is a dog eats socks story.

My brother The Comedian thinks I look like Robin Williams.

Boy! That was one full letter of articles and words from Don.

Don likes to let me know if my world is crumbling:

Just random clippings that found their way into this letter.

Alright. That should do it for today, October 27th 2014
Thanks for reading!
