Well hey there, here is Don's letter from after his trip with Bones to Yellowstone National Park. Don used to work with Bones. Still have to get Bone's permission to include his pix in the photos Don sends but this letter didn't have any anyway. What I did realize was that I don't like retyping Don's letters if I don't have to. I have read them all once or twice already so decided to just scan them and put them up that way. Let me know if that works for you smartphone people and if it doesn't, well, I guess banging them out on the computer won't be THAT bad. Oh...and Way to Go GIANTS!

A side note here is that Don lets Mary read the papers they get first; then he reads them and cuts the heck out of them and into letters they go!

Aside: Mr. Kohlman is Don's neighbor who he says is probably a 100 years old. Gideon is his son.
Well...it's on to the next one 08.22.014, this is how I sort of read them anyway but will be my last entry for today. Whew! Almost through August. At this rate, we'll be caught up in no time. The next letter has a good ending and the one for tomorrow, a nice intro.

I used to ride my bicycle to Forest Mall. I saw the movie Earthquake there in SensaRound!  My High School Art teacher Mr. DeMarco (suspected pothead) hated the place when it opened and had us do a project where we re-vitalized our nice Main Street (which is also dying) in my home town. They just tore down the Retlaw (Walter backwards) Theater which I sat nearly alone in watching the original Willard movie and thought I felt rats scurrying around under my feet and that was ions ago.

My idea for Forest Mall is to make it into a Skate Park, Archery Area, recreational site with indoor (waterpark-like) pool, art studios and healthier dining. A destination spot of activity for all ages.
But that probably won't happen.

Okay, well I have to text Bones to see if I can put his pics on this blog or Don will be mad at me if I don't have his permission first. I hope he lets me; he's an awesome guy! Later.
